Advanced Member - Malcolm Jenkin LRPS, AFIAP(CRCC President)Malcolm Jenkin LRPS AFIAP is the President of Camborne & Redruth Camera Club (CRCC). My interest in photography began many years ago. I joined the CRCC as a Junior member and maintained my interest throughout my University years. I started using Pentax equipment but moved to Nikon in the early ‘70’s. I have done a lot of darkroom work, both colour & monochrome. Most of my print work has been done using medium format cameras such as Mamiya & Hasselblad. I have taught photography for many years at Adult Education classes, latterly at Truro College. I have been asked to judge club competitions across Cornwall and in America. I have been involved in Fashion photography and also social photography including portraiture & weddings. Currently I am experimenting with Infra Red photography. I enjoy entering competitions and have had the honour of winning the Cornwall Photographic Alliance with both slide & print. Now that I am retired I can now focus on entering international competitions with the eventual aim of gaining FIAP & PSA distinctions. Barbara & I spend some time in America each year and have joined the Nevada Camera Club, we enter some of their competitions electronically and have had some success. I am pleased to note that in this digital era the camera club is going from strength to strength. Achievements:
