Camborne & Redruth Camera Club (CRCC)

Last Thursday evening (27-05-10) the Club met at the Treleigh Church Hall for the conclusion of its Winter Season’s Programme with ‘Let’s go for a Sunset’. With the weather set fair it was decided to head for the well known Wheal Coates site (Nr. St Agnes).
But before the group set off, Reg Poad (Chairman) thanked the members for their support through the winter and announced that the next field trip would be to the Trevarno Gardens (near Nancegollan) on Sunday 6 June, meet at the car park 10.15 am. On Sunday 20 June the Club is scheduled to travel to south-east Cornwall to visit Mount Edgcumbe, meeting there at 10.00 am. Reg also said that there was a programme change - the visit to Stover Country Park and to Becky Falls-Dartmoor is brought forward to the 27 June and on 18 July the European Semi-Finals Grasstrack Racing Meeting at Washaway nr Bodmin is substituted.
The meeting at Treleigh concluded with Noel Ellis (Vice-Chairman) presenting awards and certificates to Barbara and Malcolm Jenkin. Neil Keen received also the Chairman’s award as ‘The most Promising New Member’.
