Camborne & Redruth Camera Club (CRCC)

Thursday 1st April 2010

The Camborne- Redruth Camera Club met last Thursday evening (01-04-10) for the culmination of its 2009/10 Winter League competition with the set subject of ‘Weather’. Thelma Hope from the Truro Camera Club judged the entries and was faced with a range of interpretations of the subject but inevitably following the recent hard winter, snow and ice pictures prevailed. In her commentary she touched on composition, better mounting of prints, choice of the mount colour, lack of sharpness in some pictures and over sharpening in others. She also suggested software enhancement in several of the images. Finally however awards were given, in her opinion, to those entries that best met her criteria for the subject.
